| Being an integral part of the society, the Company is deeply conscious of its obligations and responsibilities towards society. Jyoti has played a major role in rehabilitating the physically-handicapped by providing training and employment, assisting various voluntary organisations, encouraging its own employees to participate in areas like promotion of renewable sources of energy, preservation of environment, voluntary blood donation programmes, vocational training for rural and urban youth and integrated rural development programmes. Jyoti Ltd. has been regularly supporting voluntary organizations like
Sardar Patel Renewable Energy Research Institute, Vallabh Vidyanagar; Lifeline Foundation, Vadodara; Citizens Blood Donation Society, Vadodara; Community Science Centre, Vadodara; V-One Society, Vadodara working for rehabilitation of handicapped persons; Society for Clean Environment, Vadodara; Bal Bhavan, Vadodara; Vadodara Centre for Animal Rescue and Emergency, etc. Jyoti has received prestigious awards for its contribution to society, from the Government of India and Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI).

Jyoti Ltd. is also actively involved in the field of education in the city of Vadodara through Navrachana Education Society (NES), a registered Trust, which is running various educational institutions. |

NES provides quality education in and around the city to over 5500 students from a wide socio-economic strata of our society through 9 Institutions and 400 teachers. |

- Navrachana University, newly established non funded State University with programs in Education, Managemnt, Science and Computer Applications. First to start an innovatitve program for training teachers in Science – 4 year integrated BSc-BEd. The University will move to its new 75 acre campus in July ’11 with expansion of its programs.
- Navrachana School, affiliated to CBSE.
- Navrachana Vidyani Vidyalay affiliated to GSEB.
- Navrachana International School, affiliated to International Baccalaureate Organisation, Geneva (IBO), Cambridge International Examination, UK (CIE) & CBSE with full international programme at state-of-the-art campus with residential facility.
- Navrachana College of Education, affiliated to SNDT for B.Ed. & M.Ed. programs.
- Nav-Prerana, a programme for providing education to less-privileged children under National Institute of Open School (NIOS).
- Navrachana Language Academy, conducts programs improving communication in English. Also a centre for CIE’s ESOL program.
- Navrachana Sports Academy,Provides basic and advanced coaching in individual and team sports to school going children of Vadodara.
