Jyoti’s saga of hydro turbines began way back in early 60’s. The first Project to install was a 4x50 kW project with Francis turbines with a design head of 23 m head at Himachal Pradesh in 1961.

With fully established own R&D Centre, developed various hydraulic models on its own and upgraded the product range. Jyoti obtained self sustainability and pioneered in design, manufacture, supply and installation of various types of hydro turbines.

Jyoti Offers full range of hydro turbines and other auxiliary equipments. Jyoti offers complete concept to commissioning services like designing, manufacture, supply erection and commissioning of hydro projects for different heads and outputs with wide range of turbines including Kaplan, Francis, Pelton, Turgo impulse turbines.

Jyoti is one of very few to manufacture all the major equipments for hydro project like Turbine, Generators, Inlet Valves, Switchgear and control panel thus offering complete turnkey solutions for small hydro projects  economically.

Our installations are spread across India, USA, Bhutan, Vietnam, Indonesia, Nepal, etc. and so far more than 430 installations amounting to 325 MW of hydro power
