Research and Development Activities

JYOTI has its own inbuilt & well established R & D center. Each individual department is having its own R & D cell with well equipped laboratories & group of trained engineers for carrying - out new development/improvement of their product range.

The development of Microprocessor based Temp. Scanners, Static Relays & Auxiliary Relays are carried - out under one roof of Electronics & Control System Division. The microprocessor based development system accessories & modules are also installed in the lab.

The following products are developed with the inbuilt capacity available at 
R & D Cell :

	8 points & 16 points microprocessor based Temperature Scanners.
	Three pole OR single pole solid state IDMTL over current & earth fault relay type JTRSA in draw-out case.
	SPVK & PV under voltage / over voltage relay in draw out case.
	SPAK relay (DTL over current) in draw-out case.

The product is getting evaluated and modified time - to - time as per requirement of customer. The environmental and electrical testing of all above products and auxiliary relays for type test approval is carried - out in coordination with the outside authorized government agencies. The failure analysis of the product is also carried-out in details to ensure the reliability of the product. The flow of incoming material is also tested according to the norms set by R & D to ensure the healthiness of the product.

The batch wise quality audit of the final assembled product is undergone through stringent quality norms set by R & D to ensure the reliability of the product. R & D' s full support will be extended to manufacturing wing whenever it is required.

The sales after service is also provided to the customer for healthy working of the instruments in the field. Electronics & Control system division is also been certified for ISO-9001.
