From Pre-independence days, Jyoti pioneered the development of pumps to handle water for irrigation and water supply schemes. To meet the growing requirements, Jyoti has continuously widened its range of medium and large pumps.

There are also special purpose pumps such as Lubricating Oil Pumps for Steam Turbines and Moderator Pumps for handling heavy water in Nuclear Power Stations.
