Developed first indigenous 33 kV, 750 MVA outdoor Minimum Oil Circuit Breaker. This breaker was type tested at High Power Laboratory Czechoslovakia. |

Started manufacture of motor control centres with Vacuum Contactors in 3.3 / 6.6 kV, 400 Amp. rating. |

Vacuum Contactors have proved to be excellent switching devices for motors, transformers, capacitors etc. |

Developed indoor type MOCBs of 12 kV, 40 kA / 7.2 kV, 44 kA rating for which also Import Substitution award was given to Jyoti. This breaker was type-tested at KEMA, Netherlands in addition to tests at CPRI, Bhopal. |

More than 2000 breakers of this 12 kV / 7.2 kV rating are in service, which is the largest in number compared to the quantity supplied by any other manufacturer in India. |
